On 8/2/2018, Prosecuting Attorney, Barry McHugh filed a Response to Defendent’s Request for Discovery. Page 2 of the Request for Discovery indicates that a 4 page National Crime Information Center (NCIC) supplement detailing the defendant’s prior criminal history was entered into evidence and requested by Alex Barron as part of the defendant’s Discovery process.

NCIC reports contain a complete criminal history and are not available except to authorized law enforcement officers.

ABCISP, Inc.

The Articles of Incorporation for ABCISP, Inc., show Alex Barron as the Incorporator. The Amended Articles of Incorporation show Alex Barron as the President and Secretary of ABCISP, Inc. ABCISP, Inc. was listed as a suspended business by the California Franchise Tax Board. The suspended status could indicate a simple failure to file required documentation or failure to pay taxes.

Update 2/18/2020: CDA Press Article

An article in the Coeur D’Alene Press indicates that Alex Barron was blaming stress from his wife’s medical condition in 2015 for the reason for his domestic battery citation. Alex Barron states that a medical condition was the result of complications with the birth of his daughter.

California Superior Court Records for the County of San Diego indicate that Alexander Barron was the petitioner/plaintiff in a 2011 dissolution case (D528009) with Karina Cortes-Ortega Barron as defendant/respondent. At the time of this inquiry, dissolution appears not to have been completed.

Editor’s note: The Coeur d’Alene Press article implies that Boise Leaks is “opposition research.” Boise Leaks does not engage in opposition research. Analysis and Opinion

In all cases, those individuals aspiring to public office should remain circumspect with regard to the public trust.

The NCIC criminal history report should be made public.

As a candidate for the Idaho Senate, Alex Barron should address the issue of the domestic violence charge, the failed business in California that was suspended by the California Franchise Tax Board and the unpaid taxes owed to the taxpayers of California.
